Class and Gender in Latin America

This Global Issues will be presented by Truman State University students from Marc Becker’s JINS seminar on Race, Class and Gender in Latin America, who participated in a service learning project on immigration to Milan, Mo. These students interviewed both recent and long-term residents of Milan to examine issues and concerns facing the community and will be presenting the results of their study.


Why the U.S. Needs an Economic Miracle

Siegfried Sutterlin will offer a summary and evaluation of the current state of the U.S. economy. He will discuss the historical elements and policies that caused current economic conditions in America.
